In order to provide information
about health, I have issued a series of brochures entitled "Yojyo"
(養生: this word means "how to have a healthy life"). 25 brochures
have been published so far.
This homepage will provide you with my newest essays.
The English word Sound, which is included in the main theme of my
homepage, is usually used for its audiological meaning, as in "tone"
or "noise", but the word Sound also has another important
meaning as "healthy" or "wholesome".
Our main theme, "A sound mind in a sound body", is often
understood to mean: if you have a sound body, you will have a sound
mind. But this is wrong, a sound body is not a guarantee of a sound
mind. In fact, this proverb is a subjunctive expression and states
our desire for both: if only we could have a sound mind and a sound
body.
The acupuncture and other medical services available at our office
will assist you in keeping a sound body. We offer the information
on these pages with the hope that it will assist you in maintaining
a sound mind as well.
Here you will find writing about familiar matteres on our daily life
and health, from Western Medicine and school subjects such as English,
math, biology and chemistry, to acupuncture and other Oriental Medicines,
which will enrich your knowledge and understanding.
